The Royal Oak is an ideal venue for your function, event or conference. We are located centrally within Wales, close to transport networks. With two function rooms offering many different types of meeting or conference setups, we accommodate groups from a small boardroom of 10, to a seminar for 150 or an exhibition of up to 200 people. Full Audio Visual equipment is available to hire and free WiFi is available in all areas within the hotel. All budgets can be catered for a range of delegate rates available.
We have a variety of menus which use ingredients chosen and sourced by our head chef. These can also be tailored to your requirements. The best cuisine deserves the best service and we pride ourselves on providing a confident, yet discreet approach to catering and we promise to look after your guests by paying the utmost attention to detail.
We understand that not all events are happy ones and when it comes to saying goodbye to a loved one we offer a discreet, sympathetic and supportive approach for you, your family and friends in the arranging of a funeral tea.

The Powis Suite
Situated on the ground floor of the Hotel with its own entrance, this function suite is a completely versatile space that can be transformed to make your own bespoke venue. The Powis Suite features high ceilings, oak beams and floor, private bar area, and WIFI throughout. The Powis Suite has a maximum capacity of up to 150 people and can be partitioned to give two useable spaces.
The Jacobite Suite
Situated on the first floor of the Hotel, the Jacobite Suite is a private suite which caters for smaller conferences. The Jacobite Suite features views of the own, its original timber floor and is perfect for conferences of up to 30 people.
For large groups, such as staff parties and birthday meals, our restaurant can accommodate up to 100 guests split across a number of tables.
